From a family of artists, I was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Before attending the Rhode Island School
of Design (RISD) for my BFA in Furniture Design, I spent a year abroad in my mother's homeland of Sweden, where I attended Ölands Folkhögskola.

I use my hands as a means of creating something tangible of my thoughts and experiences. The act of making is simultaneously a process of understanding my thoughts and observations, coming to terms with emotions, finding a place for memories, but also, as a means of recording or documenting these moments, and these stages of my self.

This website is a collection of my work, ranging from the sculptural and interactive, to the more functional, including furniture work and textile samples. The categories however, are superficial, as all of these works share themes and take inspiration from each other, if not entirely arising from each other.
