"Trunks" is the result of a recently-begun collaboration with Providence-based JUMP! Dance Company. Directed by artist, dance-educator and choreographer Mary Paula Hunter, JUMP! is a youth dance company that encourages its dancers to assume the creative and innovative role of choreographer as well as dancer.

Watching their rehearsals for "Carnival of the Animals", which explores animalistic qualities in humans, I designed these costumes to exaggerate the gestures and postures already present one of the numbers, titled Elephants, or People You Wont Invite To Your House Again.

The show was performed this March at The Carriage House Theatre, Providence, RI, and will be part of Summer in the Square in New York this July.
